Hello! I am the entrepreneur of the group! I have been practicing law for what seems like forever. Five years ago, I quit my job at a large firm and traveled to Thailand for two months to learn how to open and run an e-commerce store. Since then, I have changed how I work and travel completely. I no longer work full time for one employer, but now have a busy law practice, an e-commerce store, and a travel following. I travel slowly, preferring to stay for longer periods of time in one place, so I can get to know each unique destination, rather than just breeze in and out in two days, and leave exhausted without really experiencing the destination. I balance my love of travel, with my work, finding time to really enjoy myself and make amazing memories. One Week Each Year was born out of our determination to show women like us how to travel, work, make connections and have laughs and fun while doing it. I know how hard it is to put yourself first. But for just One Week, you can and should do this each year. (At a minimum!) I look forward to seeing you on the trip!
